As a part of the province of Surigao del Sur's “Always Yes to First 1000 Days Program (AY1K)”, which is headed by Honorable Governor Alexander T. Pimentel.

Children who are severely underweight in pre-school are given nutritional supplements (Nutripaks) by the PGO-Nutrition Office in all LGUs of the province.

The LGU of San Miguel, Surigao del Sur is the beneficiary for this week (January 3- 6, 2023) of the program.
