The Provincial Internal Audit Service staff led by our Internal Auditors attended the Seminar/Workshop on Institutionalization and Strengthening of the Internal Audit Function in Local Government Units (LGUs) conducted by the Association of Government Internal Auditors, Inc. (AGIA) at the Hotel Elizabeth, Baguio City on April 12-14, 2023.

The three (3) day seminar is designed to present a complete overview of the Internal Control System (ICS) of an organization, enable the participants to understand the basic principles of internal auditing and its role in the internal control system and discuss issues and concerns on the institutionalization and strengthening of the Internal Audit Function in the Local Government Unit.
