Honored to be one of the selected presenters nationwide, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (PSWDO) Hershe Lorenzana Nuñez highlighted how the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur has continuously provided steadfast support and commitment to the programs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the people of the province.

The presentation was part of a national activity held at Berjaya Makati Hotel on September 2–5, 2025, which gathered key partners and stakeholders from different regions. PSWDO Nuñez shared the province’s best practices and innovative approaches in implementing social welfare and development programs, underscoring the importance of strong collaboration between national and local governments in ensuring inclusive and sustainable social protection for all.
