The Municipality of Bayabas officially opened the 21st Gakit Festival 2025 on November 19, 2025, marking the start of a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and local craftsmanship. The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist proudly joined the event through the presence of our Provincial Agriculturist, Mr. Esmeraldo S. Raymundo, who delivered an inspiring message to all Bayabasnon.

The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg) was also represented by Ms. Desiree Lee L. Vasquez and Engr. Ruby Joy N. Buniel, who served as adjudicators for the Agri-Marine Trade Fair 2025, showcasing the province's support for innovation and excellence in local Agri-Fishery products.

The opening of the Gakit Festival once again highlighted Bayabas’ rich heritage, creativity, and unity—celebrating not just tradition, but also the continued journey toward agricultural growth and community empowerment.
