On September 1, 2022 the Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) of Caraga conducted a review of documents using the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan and Implementation Pro tool for Local Government.

The RNET concluded the 2022 MELLPI Pro activity based on Nutrition activities and accomplishments in the Province of Surigao del Sur for CY 2021 with an exit conference where the Provincial Nutrition Committee (PNC), whose chairperson Gov. Alexander T. Pimentel assured continued support and commitment to further improve the province's nutrition program.

Moreover, the Provincial Nutrition Action Officer (PNAO), Ms. Miloniza Nieves-Serra, RND, expressed her gratitude to the PNC members and RNET. She welcomed the recommendations of the RNET based on the results of the evaluation. The Province of Surigao del Sur received an average score of 89.42% after two days of evaluation from August 31–September 1, 2022, making it a recipient of the Green Banner Seal of Compliance for Nutrition.
