Last March 18, 2023, a Fish Examiner from the Regulatory Division of the Provincial Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office conducted fish examination as requested by the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. The said examination will determine if the fishes were illegally caught through dynamite fishing which is probihited by law under section 92 of the  Republic Act 8550 and as amended by Republic Act 10654.  

Appropriate actions were done by the MAO of San Agustin after the said examination proved it was indeed caught illegally.
