In collaboration with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office, the Provincial Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office together with the City Agriculture Office, PNP-Maritime, Deputized Fish Warden and City Police Station of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, conducted market denial in Luha Public Market located in Barangay Mabua and inspected the fish landing area located in Moonglow, Bag-ong Lungsod, last March 22, 2023.

The said activity aims to inspect and check whether vendors sell fishes that are illegally caught through dynamite fishing or if there is any fishery products that has been sold despite being held by the law (CITES- Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species). The said activity ended well and all departments were contented after verification that all vendors abided the law.
