PHRMO EMPLOYEES ATTEND GENDER SENSITIVITY TRAINING Employees of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) embarked on a transformative journey as they participated in a one-day Gender Sensitivity Training on March 15, 2024, held at the PGO Conference Room. The foundational training program on Gender and Development was designed to empower HR employees to become advocates for diversity and inclusion within the workplace. By fostering a more welcoming and inclusive culture, the initiative aims to enhance the organization's ability to attract, retain, and develop talent from diverse backgrounds. "This training serves as a crucial step towards creating a workplace environment that values and respects the differences among our employees," expressed Mr. Ace Orcullo, Provincial HRM Officer. "We believe that by championing gender equality and inclusivity, we can unlock the full potential of our workforce and drive organizational success." Facilitated by Atty. Allen M. Gasulas, Assistant City Prosecutor of Tandag and a distinguished member of the National Gender and Development Pool (NGRP) of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), the learning sessions provided valuable insights and practical strategies for promoting gender equality awareness. The initiative represents just the beginning of the PHRMO'S ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of equality and inclusion within the agency. As participants engaged in discussions and interactive exercises, they gained a deeper understanding of the importance of gender sensitivity in today's evolving workplace landscape. Through collaborative efforts and continuous learning, the HR staff aims to drive positive change and set a benchmark for gender equality initiatives across the organization. Moving forward, the Provincial HRMO remains dedicated to implementing progressive policies and initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all employees. By harnessing the collective strengths and talents of its workforce, the agency is poised to achieve new heights of success in the pursuit of its mission and objectives.
