Municipality of Tago

The Municipality of Tago is a 2nd class Municipality located in the central part of the Province of Surigao del Sur, Philippines. Endowed with rich natural resources which develops ecotourism. While on one hand, the Municipality of Tago is no different from other LGUs that aspire for what is best for its constituency’s welfare, the glaring tourism development edge that the municipality has over other LGUs, on the other hand, is placing a deliberate and strong focus to develop the Tago River and Nature Adventure as a prime tourism destination of the region.

  • <b class="font-bara"><i class="bi bi-geo-fill h4"></i> TAGO RIVER AND NATURE ADVENTURE (TaRA NA!)</b> <br/>The TAGO RIVER NATURE ADVENURE (TaRA NA!) located at Tago River, Brgy. Purisima, Tago, Surigao del Sur offers a wide array of products and Services which depicts fun, excitement and relaxation as the tag line articulates which, local language is, “hala di na!” – a most enticing and infectious invitation to guest from Tagon-ons, to join in the fun. If taken as one line in the local dialect as, “haladi”, this means “offering”, so that the river adventure becomes an offering of the people of Tago to its valued guest and to God, for having endowed the place of such bounty!

Layog can be seen in the area next to each other and these astounding waterfalls are mind-blowing due to their greenish/bluish waters. You can also trail above the basin to reach a spacious-enough pond that’s also ideal for swimming.

Lindoy is very relaxing, howbeit, there’s only a tiny man-made portion good for swimming readily available at the moment.
